How Can I Brand Myself
Your image is important. Whether you're at work or in a party, every moment you're out and about you're branding yourself one way or another.
Who you are, what you do. Ask yourself, "what do I want to be known as?" How Important is my look, my tone, my actions? How are you selling yourself in the next job interview? What are you good at?
The key to developing a good reputation brand for yourself is by doing research. Take a moment to look through these steps, that's if you're really serious about building your brand.
1. Define your overall goals.
Define your goals and objectives. What do you want to be known as? What do you want to be doing? Do you want to become known as the best marketing director in the firm? Know who you want to be. Who you want to be known as.
2.Do Some Research
Who are your biggest competitors? What are they known for? Why are they known for that? What are others doing to brand themselves? Where do you see them?
3. Know What You Want To Be Known For
Self-explanatory. Ask yourself what you want to be known for and why? What attribute about you can be highlighted and projected? In what niche do you want to be known?
4. Where Are You At Right Now?
What do people think of you right now? What attributes do others perceive you? Your best qualities and your worst. What needs to change and why?
5.Create Your Game Plan
It's more than just branding on social media, it's enhancing the best attributes you have to offer as a product. Where are you going to be seen and what message are you going to portray? How are you going to dress? What about your hairstyle, behavior, tone, posture, body language, manners, verbal communication?
How are you going to use your social media? What events are you going to go to? Where do you want your name to appear and how you're going to get there?
6.Manage Your Brand
A brand never sleeps. Everything you post reflects directly on to you, along with your attitude and personality. Make sure everything goes with the image you're trying to convey.
